This card has been created as a Thank You card for all the gifts my husband received last week for his 60th Birthday.  We organised a big party of 25 people and had games and dinner out in the evening.

He got loads of great gifts and each person got a Thank You card to show our appreciation.

The elements used in this making of this card and the embellishment for the picture are:

1.Bright Lights LED are available from
http://www.fireflycrafts.net/product-p/ffc-bhcl.htm

The lights on this occasion were added to create an effect for the picture but I could so easily have created spaces for the lights to pop through and given my card that 'WOW' feature.

2. Gina Marie Hexagon Die set used in this card are also available from
http://www.fireflycrafts.net/product-p/gmd-xstitchhexagonds.htm

3. The sentiment 'Thanks ever so much' the THX and the dot embellishment stamps are available from http://www.fireflycrafts.net/product-p/ae-manythanks.htm

The ribbon, gems, card etc are from my stash.

The focal images on my card were digital stamps of Tweedledee and Tweedledum from Alice in Wonderland,  The scroll was a copyright and royalty free image from the internet.

These images were merged together in photo editing software then printed out and coloured.  I then fussy cut around the image and use foam pads to decoupage the image onto my card.

I hope that you like my 'Thanks' card and that you are inspired to visit  http://www.fireflycrafts.net/ for all your crafty supplies.

Don't forget if you purchase more than $49 your shipping is free - anywhere in the world (tax paid) - so grab a bargain and fill your baskets.

This image was created using a new digi stamp designer called Saga Stamps, Sweden.  The image has been coloured using Copic Markers.  The background I coloured using my Copic Markers and a white ink pen.

The sun was just a round circle created by drawing around the top from a bottle of glitter and then masked over the scallop shape so that the background colour did not get into my sun area.

The image and the layer have been cut using Tattered Lace scallop oval dies.  The stepper card is also from a Tattered Lace Stepper die cut set.

The orange flowers were from my stash and the blue flowers were part of the Tattered Lace Die Cut set.  The gems in the centre are from my stash.

The papers were from a 12 x 12 paper pad which I had in my stash.

This project was created using creating a digi stamp called Autumn in Far North by Ching Chou Kuik. The imaged was coloured using Copic Markers.

I have cut all the layers and the scrolls and all the foliage using dies from Tattered Lace.

I used Tim Holtz distress inks to colour the layer edges, the flower tips and also added gold rub on to the scrolls and the decorative layers of the image Autumn in Far North.

The flowers and pearls were from my stash.

September Inspiration Cards

I loved this digi image so much I made to family birthday cards.

The digital image came from an Alice in Wonderland .

I used copic pens to colour the imate and Tattered Lace dies for the decorations on the 'Don't lose your muchness' card.

There is lace from my stash and background papers from an Alice in Wonderland papers collection.

The gem used on the flower was purchased from a local craft fayre in Glasgow, Scotland.

The top card is a minimalist card - it uses just the image with a drawn pen border and some paper roses purchased from a large craft store on my recent Canadian holiday.

Have a look at our site http://www.fireflycrafts.net/ and purchase your crafty stash to create projects - it is so relaxing and I like nothing better than to have 'me' time to colour and create.

September 2016 Anything Goes Challenge
Bookfolding for
Benjamin Thomas McCully

This bookfolding was made using Tattered Lace Disney dies and Tattered lace border die and Tattered Lace Flourish dies.

The text on the spine is cut using my Silhouette Cameo cutting machine - the font name is Minnie.

The led lights are called Bright Heart Craft Lights and come in as string of 5 light or a string of 10 lights.  Firefly Crafts are sourcing these for their shop - keep checking back for the stock arriving online.

The images on the back of the cover are also cut using Tattered Lace Disney dies - these are relatively new to the UK Market and will no doubt be available world wide soon.

The bookfolding font is courtesy of Debbi Moore bookfolding CD's -matching upper and lowercase font with butterfly fillers for the top line.

The lettering has been highlighted with Tim Holtz walnut ink pad.

I have a ribbon printing machine and the printed ribbon was used to ensure that the book pages remains in position.

DT August 2016 Inspiration Card

This is my inspiration card for August 2016. New Born Baby Boy.

I have used a copyright free image from the internet and coloured it with my Copics market.

A selection of Tattered Lace Flourish Dies decorate the edges of the square border.

The square border has been cut using tattered lace pin hole dies and then it has been glittered with iridescent glitter to make it sparkle.

I have used various paper flowers from my stash and printed off the name plate 'Benjamin Thomas' from Microsoft PowerPoint

(Microsoft Word will do the job just as well - it is just personal preference.)

Have a go!
